2. Personal data we process
The public website does not offer public user accounts, comments or a contact form. If you contact us by email or telephone, we may process the information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details, organisation, the content of your message and the information needed to answer it.
Our hosting environment may record technical information such as IP address, time, requested page, browser information and security events in server and security logs.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- To answer inquiries and take steps you request before entering into an agreement.
- To communicate about projects, events and cooperation and, where applicable, perform an agreement.
- To keep essential administrative records and comply with legal obligations.
- To operate, secure and improve the technical reliability of the website, based on our legitimate interest in a safe and stable service.
- To load optional external content only after your choice or consent where consent is required.
4. No advertising or behavioural tracking
We do not display advertising on this website. We do not use advertising networks, retargeting, behavioural advertising, marketing pixels or visitor profiling for advertising purposes. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use visitor data to personalise advertisements.
5. Cookies, translation and embedded content
The website may use strictly necessary technical cookies or similar storage for essential functions such as security, administration sessions and language preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
The language selector uses an external Google translation service. If you choose a translation, technical request information may be sent to Google and a language preference may be stored. Google’s own privacy terms apply to that service.
Videos on the homepage and In the Media page use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player. The YouTube player is not loaded until you select play. After that choice, YouTube or Google may process technical information and may place cookies under their own terms.
Links to external websites do not mean that Stichting Barikat Kunst controls those websites or their privacy practices.
6. Hosting and security
The website is hosted in the Mijndomein environment. Necessary technical service providers may process limited data on our behalf to host, back up, maintain and secure the website. We use access controls, strong authentication, updates, security logs and backups to reduce security risks.
7. Sharing, international processing and retention
We do not sell personal data. We share data only when this is necessary for our activities, technical service, a legal obligation or the protection of legitimate rights. External services such as Google or YouTube may process data outside the European Economic Area under their own legal safeguards and privacy terms when you choose to use those services.
Correspondence and administrative information are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose and applicable legal duties. Technical and security logs are retained in accordance with security needs and the hosting provider’s retention settings.
8. Your privacy rights
Under the GDPR, where applicable, you may have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict processing, object to processing, receive certain data in a portable form and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact ubffest@gmail.com to make a request. We may ask for reasonable proof of identity before handling a request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
